WhatsApp Works On Message Yourself Option

WhatsApp is busy working on a new feature called Message Yourself. It will be installed in the new Android version if the trials go well. According to the leaked information, this new feature allows users to see their own phone numbers among the contacts in WhatsApp.

There is a new feature on its way which will allow WhatsApp users to leave messages to themselves. The feature is awaited in the upcoming update if everything goes smoothly. It looks like the owners of the Android version of the app will be the first who try it, in the new edition 2.22.24.2. According to the source that spotted the new service, it will be available in the chat window, where previously you’ve seen just the “last seen” icon.

This is not an entirely new service to WhatsApp users. They can send messages to themselves using the chat links. The new update will make the service rather official, bringing it full support as a separate feature in the app. Users will be able to message themselves inside the app in a few moves. The number of their own phone will be available in the list of contacts. There will be a short description linked to the number Message Yourself.

Thus, you will not only be able to text yourself but will be able to do it faster. The feature will sync with any other devices you use if you have the multi-device option available on WhatsApp. The feature becomes officially supported, providing better highlights and more opportunities. Nowadays, you can see the pale copy of the new feature in version 22.23.0.70 on iOS and 2.22.24.2 on Android. News about this feature appeared almost instantly after WhatsApp announced that they roll out the Call Links option.
