This update provides further details on the progression to the playoffs at IEM Krakow 2026. The event continues to evolve as more teams secure their positions and others are eliminated, intensifying the competitive atmosphere.
Team Vitality and Aurora Gaming have advanced by Advancing to the final stage of Group B's upper bracket winner of that match will receive a first-round pass during playoffs. Both squads now join G2 Esports and Team Spirit as part of the confirmed six-team playoff roster.
Recent eliminations have also shaped the tournament. NRG was ousted by FaZe Clan, and BC.Game Esports was defeated by Team Falcons. As a result, just four teams remain in the hunt for the final playoff spot in Group B:

- FaZe Clan
- 3DMax
- Team Falcons
The upcoming matches in Group B will see the top two teams face off initially, while the remaining pair contest separately. The winner from the Lower Bracket Final will ultimately progress to join the playoffs.
In another group, only Furia and Astralis have stayed in contention. They successfully overcame their opponents, Natus Vincere and FUT Esports were designated, respectively, to guarantee a place in a crucial survival match in the Lower Bracket Final.
