Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Extended Gameplay Highlights Improvements, New Voice Acting, and More
- 13 Aug 2024
Capcom has unveiled extended gameplay footage for the upcoming Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, a remake of the original 2006 title. Director Ryosuke Murai took the opportunity to showcase various new features and enhancements during a hands-on session with the game.
The Deluxe Remaster has been completely rebuilt using the RE Engine, allowing for a stunning 4K resolution and a smooth 60 FPS experience. Players will notice notable upgrades in character facial animations as well as the introduction of full voice-acting, supporting nine languages. This means that characters, such as Otis, will now speak their lines instead of players just reading them.
Significant alterations have also been made to certain areas within the mall, particularly in Paradise Plaza, which has been transformed to exude a more inviting beachfront atmosphere. Players can now pick up clothing items from various shops and change outfits on the go. Additionally, for those looking for a quick wardrobe change, a Closet feature allows access to outfits as they are discovered throughout the gameplay, with plenty of exclusive options available in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
The highly anticipated Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be officially released on September 19th, available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
