The recent days have been filled with excitement in the competitive League of Legends scene as regional tournaments began and wrapped up their opening series. Fans witnessed several key clashes that have now set the stage for an international showdown scheduled for the coming season.
Over the weekend, numerous leagues completed their first contests of the season. During these events, the champions from the leading European, North American, and Korean tournaments were crowned, and most teams have secured their entry into the upcoming global competition set to occur in 2026.
The only remaining piece lies in finalizing the two top teams from the Asian regional league, a requirement based on historical achievements on the world stage. With the ongoing series in that region concluding on March 8, the final eight squads will soon be known, along with the tournament bracket for the event that begins on March 16.
