Double XP Weekend Extended for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Great news for Call of Duty enthusiasts! The double XP weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been extended. Players grinding for prestige levels in the recently released game will be thrilled. The event, which includes 2XP, 2X Weapon XP, and 2X GobbleGum rates, is now extended until November 5.

Treyarch, the game's developer, revealed via X / Twitter that they've resolved a glitch that occasionally caused a drop in 2XP gains for some players. As a result, they are extending the bonus XP period until 10:00 PT / 18:00 GMT on Tuesday. Although it's unfortunate that this issue affected some players, the extension is a boon for those unaffected.

The double XP event kicked off on November 1, coinciding with the launch of the Nuketown 24/7 playlist, reintroducing the iconic Nuketown map. I capitalized on the bonus XP over the weekend, nearly reaching the second prestige level. With the extension, I'm confident I'll hit my target level during my next session.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which launched on October 25, marked the franchise's biggest release ever. Having invested many hours since its launch, I rated the game four and a half stars in my review. It stands out as a remarkable first-person shooter with an engaging campaign and some of the best graphics currently on the market.
